Sterling Specialty Chemicals (SSC) recently celebrated the grand opening of its expanded emulsion polyacrylamide (EPAM) production capabilities at its Mobile, Alabama facility — marking a significant milestone in the company’s continued growth and investment in high-performance chemistry solutions.
The expansion enhances SSC’s ability to deliver reliable, scalable EPAM supply to customers across the energy and industrial markets. By increasing production capacity and strengthening operational flexibility, the Mobile facility is now better positioned to support evolving customer demands, particularly in hydraulic fracturing and water treatment applications.
The milestone was commemorated with an on-site ribbon cutting attended by SSC leadership and team members who played a key role in bringing the project to life. The event recognized the collaboration, planning, and execution required to successfully complete the expansion.
